Radio Cairo at Cremorne Junction is a Sydney special place to savour. At Radio Cairo you cannot avoid having a good time eating great food from a menu of delectable offerings and served by extremely busy people who never fail to give you personal attention and make you feel welcome. The cuisine is spicy flavoured from Morocco, Sri Lanka, India, Zanzibar, Jamaica and elsewhere, heavy on the lamb and beef but plenty of chicken and fish and some vegetarian. Food aside, it is the atmosphere that makes it unique. As we sat looking out on the black wet Cremorne junction and the rush of people to and from the Hayden Orpheum cinema over the road, it was hard to imagine a better night out: the people, the food, the music, and celebrating the simple good things in life all at very affordable prices. It’s a place we come back to time and time again and never get tired of it or feel disappointed by the experience.
