I am a researcher with an enduring interest in how practitioners think and create works. I am also a writer of memoir, poetry and travel journals and have for many years studied the great writers of the past and present times. I am inspired by the dedication and determination of the creative people I have met over my working lifetime. For many years, I studied the work of artists, designers and technologists focusing on the role of digital systems in amplifying and transforming their creativity. Articles drawing on this research appear in The Routledge International Handbook of Practice Based Research<\/a> (2022), Explorations in Art and Technology (2002, 2018),<\/a> <\/em>Interactive Experience in the Digital Age: Evaluating New Art Practice<\/em> (2014<\/a>) and Interacting: Art, Research and the Creative Practitioner (<\/em>2011). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
